Thought for the Day: 2 Samuel 22:2 "The LORD is my rock, my fortress and my
deliverer"
I'm a runner. No, I don't run ten miles a day for
physical fitness. I couldn't run ten yards if my life
depended on it, but I am a runner none the less.
My tendency is to run when problems surface. A misunderstanding with my beloved husband sends me running in tears behind locked doors. A confrontation with a friend sends me into hiding for a month. Instead of facing life and it's problems, I run for cover. I need to learn or continually relearn that I don't need to face difficulties on my own. God is there. He is my high tower in the war, my Rock in the raging storm. I need to run no further than my knees for all the assistance and protection I could ever desire. Thank you, Heavenly Father, for always being there for me, for being my Rock and my Strong Tower, for being my everything, in Jesus name, Amen. by KDW
