January 30

Reading – Exodus 38 – 40

Verse for the Day:
The Glory of the Lord filled the tabernacle. (Exodus 40:35)

The day the tabernacle was consecrated was a glorious day. The Lord God overshadowed it and filled it with His Glory. There was no room inside for anything or anyone else.

We are each a tabernacle, a temple to the Lord. When He enters, at our invitation, there should be no room for anything else in our hearts, our souls, our spirits. He is sufficient for all of our needs, Always.

For today the Lord shall appear to you
For today the Lord shall come
For today His glory shall swirl round you
For today His will be done
For today His Spirit empower you
For today He'll walk by your side
For today He'll comfort and cherish you
For today if you will abide
Don't worry about the tomorrows of life
Don't worry about "might have been"
For today the Lord shall appear to you
For today He shall dwell within

Lord God, fill me with your Spirit today and every day. Fill all the dark places and flood them with you Glorious light. Drive all the darkness and pain away and replace it with You. In Jesus name, Amen.
